The 13th edition of Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients (PCHi) trade event concluded with resounding success, after three full-days of business discussions, networking, and learning at the Shenzhen convention and exhibition center exhibition in China.
Held from 24 – 26 March, PCHi 2021 welcomed a total of 26,000+ trade professionals from 80 countries and regions through its doors, to uncover four exhibition halls, filled with the latest ingredients and technologies presented by 665 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions. All in all, participating companies showcased more than 3,000 products, and numerous manufacturers introduced brand new products to the world in Guangzhou. Attendees also had the opportunity to hear from 110 top industry experts across the various conference tracks at the PCHi Annual Industry Conference and New Technology Sessions.
Throughout the venue, the event’s three key pillars — PCHi Technology, Power, and Spirit — were clearly represented. ‘Technology’ was characterized by the strong portfolio of exhibitors and features like the New Products Showcase and New Technology Sessions. ‘Power’ refers to the brains that drive PCHi, the panel of authoritative industry experts who share their insights generously through the education program. And ‘Spirit’ points toward the spirit of innovation and the quest for excellence and quality, which was undergirded by the industry-acclaimed PCHi Fountain Awards.

The event is rotated annually between Changjiang Delta and Zhuhai Delta - two of China’s most affluent business areas that are also key manufacturing hubs for the personal care, cosmetics, toiletries and home care industry. The Shanghai World Expo exhibition hall is located on the west side of the Expo Axis, adjacent to the China Art Palace, the Expo Center and Mercedes Benz cultural center. It connects Nanpu Bridge, Lupu Bridge, Dapu Road Tunnel, Tibet South Road Tunnel and other important river crossing roads. It has dozens of bus lines around it. Rail transit lines 7 and 8 (Yaohua Road Station) and line 8 (entrance to No. 3 of China Art Palace Station) can directly reach the exhibition hall.

Shanghai World Expo exhibition hall is a multi-functional venue, a highly plastic venue and a creative space for you to gallop.
The Shanghai World Expo exhibition hall covers an area of 11.5 hectares, with a building area of 152000 square meters and a ground floor area of 93000 square meters. It is composed of South and north entrance halls, central hall, exhibition halls 1, 2 and 3, and VIP reception area. The underground building area is 93000 square meters, which is composed of hall 4, hall 5, conference area, negotiation room, equipment area and parking garage. Outdoor three squares (South Square, North Square and sunken square) and two unloading areas (East and West).
100000 square meters of indoor and outdoor exhibition area layout is reasonable, with complete functions, and the related space is freely combined, which is very convenient to visit, and can meet the needs of different scale exhibitions and activities
The 70000 square meter indoor exhibition area is divided into four exhibition halls:
The exhibition unit area is 7000 square meters, and the exhibition unit area is 25000 square meters, which is the column free exhibition space in Asia.
The 10000 square meter multi-functional central hall, with strong spatial plasticity, is designed with the concept of "guests first". It connects each exhibition hall and functional area in a one-stop way, which is the preferred site for related exhibitions, activities and ceremonies.
There are 11 large, medium and small conference rooms in the 3000 square meter conference area, which can hold high-level meetings of 780 people.
More than 90000 square meters of supporting rooms can be used as senior office area, business service area, catering area, equipment area, etc.
