· Stanpa with the support of ICEX (Institute for Foreign Trade), organizes for the first time a Spanish Pavilion in the international trade fair, Personal Care and Homecare Ingredients in China.
· The Spanish companies: INFINITEC, LLUCH and SAFEQUIM will launch their last novelties in cosmetics ingredients, raw materials and active ingredients.
· The show will be held in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center in February, 26 to 28. There are expected more than 30,000 attendees from 80 countries all around the globe and more than 650 exhibiting companies.
· Spain Is withing the ranking of the TOP 10 beauty exporting countries worldwide and is ranked the 2nd for perfumes.
Beauty traditionally have played a key role in Spanish lifestyle and wellness. In Spain, a bright and sunny country, companies have long produced skin care products, color cosmetics, perfumes and hair care products. Therefore, Spanish companies have specialized themselves in manufacturing cosmetics ingredients and essentials oils to provide a greater added value to cosmetics Made in Spain. Spain reinforces their image as global beauty leader, with an increase of 8,4% among the exports of essentials oils.
The perfumery and cosmetic sector is one of the industries that invest more in innovation, for that matter the development of cosmetic ingredients is one of the fundamental pillars in Spanish industry. The constant research in innovation, enable a quick implementation and adaptation according to the consumers’ needs. 1 out of every 3 products launched by companies in the industry have been reformulated in the last two years incorporating, among others, new ingredients. In Spain, 881 patents were published in the last year.
Spain is a Global Beauty Leader, characterized for high quality, innovation and competitiveness, our products meet the highest European Standards and GMP procedures. Spain exports more than €4.3 billion in cosmetics and perfumes, with an increase of 10%. China is the first destination for skin care cosmetics, with over €200 million exported in 2019.
