When can I visit PCHi?

PCHi 2011 will be held at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center from 22 – 24 February 2011 (Tuesday to Thursday).Doors open from 9.00 am everyday and close at 5.00pm, except for  February 2011 (Thursday) when the show will end at 4.00 pm.

Please note that on-site registration counters will close an hour before the show ends for each day. Visitors must register for non-transferable badges to gain access to the venue. All registered guests are invited to attend the opening ceremony on 22 Feburay 2011 (Tuesday), which will commence at 9.00am.

How big is the show?

PCHi 2011 will occupy two halls exhibition space,which adds up to a total floor area of over 10,000 square meters. This is PCHi’s largest exhibition to date.

At present, more than 144 exhibiting companies from nearly 15 markets have confirmed their participation.

How do I pre-register – and is it free?

Pre-registration is complimentary, and involves a simple, secure, fuss-free procedure through the PCHi website. Online pre-registration closes on 15th February 2011.

We recommend that visitors register online prior to the show to obtain faster entry to the event during show days. Another benefit of pre-registering is to avoid the RMB100 administrative fee for on-site registration.

Can I receive my badge in advance by post?

We do not plan to mail badges to pre-registered visitors prior to the showing order to run a more environmentally-conscious event. Feedback from visitors showed that mailed badges are often left at home, requiring new ones to be printed on-site. We also want to ensure that only quality visitors obtain their badges on show days and avoid the possibility of non-trade related individuals obtaining badges in the mail prior to the event.

We plan to sufficiently increase resources on show days so all pre-registered visitors will be able to promptly receive their badges on-site. We will be sending proper communication to all pre-registered visitors to facilitate their attendance at PCHi 2011.

What are the conference themes? Where can I access the program and schedule?

At PCHi 2011, we offer 5 core conference themes:

You will be required to pre-book to attend the conferences. A single-track pass costs RMB700 (USD100) and the fee for a 3-day pass is RMB 1,500 (USD220). Bookings and payments made before 28th Januray 2011 will enjoy a 15% discount. For more detailed pricing, click here.

Which companies are exhibiting at PCHi 2011?

Exhibitors include suppliers and manufacturers of raw materials and ingredients for personal care and household products; including: hair care, skin care, oral care, colouring, fragrance, natural ingredients, preservatives, detergents, pesticides, cleaning liquids, laboratories, products R&D and testing.

Prior to the show, will I be able to make appointments with exhibitors I wish to meet on-site?

Yes, you will! As long as you are a registered exhibitor or visitor, you can log in to the PCHi Online Scheduler to submit or review meeting requests, finalize business appointments, build and manage your meeting schedules. Do make full use of this facility to maximize your time spent at show.

I require a visa to enter China. How do I get a Letter of Invitation to apply for my visa?

Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions has appointed Orient Explorer as its Official Travel Agent for PCHi 2010 to facilitate visa applications for overseas attendees.

To obtain an invitation letter, click here and fill in the online form. Orient Explorer will help to coordinate and forward your application to the Chinese authorities for them to issue the invitation letter. It should be ready within seven working days and will then be presented to your company by fax or mail. You will be required to submit the letter together with your passport, a recent photograph, and a completed visa application form (available from your local Chinese Embassy) to your local Chinese Embassy or Consulate for completion of the formalities.

Please note that Orient Explorer will charge an administrative and processing fee for issuing invitation letters required for visa applications. The cost is RMB160 (USD 23) per letter for each individual.
