  • Getting to the Venue

    The Shanghai World Expo Pavilion is strategically located and is connected by the over-river thoroughfares, such as Nanpu Bridge, Lupu Bridge, Dapu Tunnel, Shangnan Rd. and Yaohua Rd. This makes travelling to the exhibition center convenient.

  • Visa Application

    Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions has appointed Orient Explorer as its Official Travel Agency for PCHi 2012 to facilitate visa applications for overseas attendees.

    Orient Explorer will help to coordinate and forward your application to the Chinese authorities for them to issue the invitation letter.  It should be ready within seven working days and will then be presented to your company by fax or mail.  You will be required to submit the letter together with your passport, a recent photograph, and a completed visa application form (available from your local Chinese Embassy) to your local Chinese Embassy or Consulate for completion of the formalities.  You may visit official website at http://www.fmprc.gov.cn/eng/default.htm

    Please note that Orient Explorer will charge an administrative and processing fee for issuing invitation letters required for visa applications.  The cost is RMB160 (USD 23) per letter for each individual.

  • About Shanghai World Expo Pavilion

    The Shanghai World Expo Pavilion of the Shanghai World Expo 2010 is one of the world’s leading exhibition centers for international events. With advanced structure and facilities, convenient transportation, as well as its eco-friendly infrastructure, it is a world-class exhibition venue.

    Theme Pavilion (TP) is located at the heart of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo site, which is considered as a primary choice for international events. The venue is located on the east riverside of the Huangpu River, west of the Shanghai World Expo Axis. It is joined to the China Pavilion, Performance Centre and Expo Centre by the Expo Axis. TP’s has an excellent location, and is connected by the over-river thoroughfares, such as Nanpu Bridge, Lupu Bridge, Dapu Tunnel, Shangnan Rd. and Yaohua Rd. This makes travelling to the exhibition center convenient.

    There are many bus services that go to TP (Shanghai World Expo Pavilion). The through metro line 8 that starts at Zhoujiadu station, together with other metro lines (6, 7, 13) will take you to the destination as well.

    The TP (Shanghai World Expo Pavilion) occupies nearly 100,000 sqm, including the indoor and outdoor. It occupies 11.5 hectares, with a construction area of 171,000 sqm, 54% of which is surface structures. When entering from the South and North entrances, visitors will see the surface structures where the VIP rooms, Central Hall, and Exhibition Halls 1, 2 and 3 are located. The underground area takes up 93,000 sqm. This is where Exhibition Halls 4 and 5, Conference Rooms, Equipment Area and car parks are situated.

    Other functional areas include three squares (the South squares, North squares and an open-air underground square) and two unloading areas located at the east and west sides.
